Petri Net Tranducers in Semantic Dialogue Modelling

Abstract:

In this paper we introduce Petri net transducers for the translation of non-sequential languages and present an application in the field of semantic dialogue modelling. Petri net transducers are a natural generilization of finite state transducers which in general provide more compact and intuitive models, are more flexible in use and have a higher expressive power.
