Presentation remarks

Please find in the technical program (as soon as available) whether your presentation is planned as a poster or talk.

Talk

An invited talk is scheduled for 35 minutes plus 5 minutes for discussion.

A regular talk is scheduled for 15 minutes plus 5 minutes for discussion.

The presenters are asked to copy their presentation files on the central ESSV presentation laptop as early as possible, but no later than in the break before the according session. At this occasion they should also check whether their presentation works on the laptop as intended (audio, video, phonetic symbols, mathematical symbols). Own laptops should only be used for the presentation in exceptional cases. Here it must be noted that the beamer only has a VGA connector. If adoptors are necessary to connect to the VGA connector, they have to be provided by the presenters.

Poster

The obligatory poster format is A0 portrait (posters in A0 landscape will have not enough space at the poster board). All posters are presented in the poster session on Thursday at 15:40 hours. At the beginning of this session, all poster authors have the occasion to present the main points of their study/poster in 1 minute to the whole audience to awaken their interest.
